Marty Creech
Director of Digital Teaching and Learning
Marty has a passion for learning and ensuring all students' learning needs are met. His experience as a middle school science teacher inspired him to find creative and fun ways to energize, motivate and teach students. Technology was one component to his recipe. Marty's goal is to bring that same energy to his current position so that all students in the district can receive instruction designed and catered to their unique personalities and needs.

Jonathan Mayfield
Promethean trainer
Jonathan is joining Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools after 7 years in Davie County and 2 years in Guilford County all teaching 8th grade science. He graduated with a BS in Biology from the University of Richmond and an M.Ed. in Learning Design and Technology from North Carolina State University. Jonathan also earned his National Board Certification in early adolescence science.

Megan Mayo
Promethean Trainer
Megan spent 21 years in the classroom teaching Spanish, French, and Humanities. She has a B.A in French and Spanish from Moravian College, and an M.Ed. in Secondary Education with a concentration in Spanish. She is an Apple Teacher and has experience with face-to-face instruction, the paperless classroom, and online teaching. When she received a grant for 1:1 iPads in her classroom, this technology was so transformative that she began working with teachers at the district and state levels on leveraging technology to engage and empower students. She hopes to inspire teachers with this same enthusiam to use the Promethean ActivPanels to support quality, engaging instruction for all students in our district.
