March of Dimes: Walk for Kids
This is a walk for children to raise money for research to end birth defects. Many of the participants either suffer from birth defects themselves or have siblings who have them. EFHS French students are volunteering to run the carnival games, craft table, and support the walk by giving out food, stickers, encouraging the walkers, and the like. You will receive a volunteer tee-shirt that morning.
The carnival will be in the fountain area in front of the BB&T building in downtown W-S. This is a very well attended event- keeping your commitment is of the utmost importance!!! Come make a difference in the life of a child and hopefully in the future of many who will be born without life-altering birth defects! You can raise money and donate it, as well! Please be sure to bring any item you volunteered to donate, as well! Merci beaucoup!
When: Sat., April 12th from 7:15-12:30. You may sign up for early shift (7:15-10:15) or later shift (9:30-12:30) or stay for both! :-)
Where: In the fountain area in front of the BB&T building in W-S. (Maps were given out in class right after Spring Break- see Mme Frye for another one!)
