CHORUS NEWS 2015-2016

Dear Parents,

 Your child has the opportunity to participate in the Clemmons Elementary School Chorus for 4^th and 5^th grade students.  Chorus is open to any interested students who enjoy singing. There is no audition. The only requirement is a desire to sing and learn a variety of music.

            The Clemmons Elementary Chorus will rehearse once a week. Rehearsal time will be Tuesday afternoon from the end of dismissal (2:45)– 3:45pm.  Rehearsals will resume Tuesday, January 26, 2016. Because of the after school time slot, parents will be responsible for student pick up and transportation. Rehearsals will follow the school calendar as far as workdays and vacation days are concerned. (You will receive a schedule of rehearsals and events) With an after school rehearsal, the success of our chorus will depend on having a substantial number of students in the group as well as a commitment to consistent rehearsal attendance. A choral program is only as good as the effort of each individual member.

Please either complete the chorus Google form on the chorus page of my website to register your child to participate in this group. My hope is that by rehearsing after school and including fourth grade students we will make us a stronger group year to year, allow more practice time, and provide more opportunities within our community.  Thank you.
