    Open during lunch
Reagan is the first high school in the state of North Carolina to have a student-run credit union.  The Raider Student Credit Union opened its doors August 25, 2008.  The Credit Union is a part of the school's financial literacy commitment to its students in partnership with Allegacy Federal Credit Union.  Students will run the branch three days a week during lunch periods, offering withdrawal and deposit services to its members.  The Credit Union is a part of the Business Advanced Studies of the CTE curriculum designed to give students real work-life experience, financial literacy and marketing credit.

The ribbon-cutting ceremony and press conference to launch the new branch took place on September 15, 2008, on the campus of Reagan High School.  State and local dignitaries, including Congresswoman Virginia Foxx (R-NC 5th), State Superintendent of Public Instruction June Atkinson and Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools Superintendent Dr. Don Martin, was on-site to help celebrate the launch.
