I have
taught in the Winston Salem Forsyth County School System for fourteen years and
at Jefferson Middle School for twelve years.
I’m certified in Special Education (K-12) and have completed graduate level
courses at Salem College. I have a Level
I Certification in the Wilson Reading System and have received extensive
training in the Orton-Gillingham Institute for Multi-Sensory Education. I graduated from the University of
Mississippi with a Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work and have worked as a
medical social worker in settings such as hospital, home health and hospice. I truly
love teaching and watching my students make progress and growth toward their
goals and dreams.
