• Microsoft Student Advantage Program

In order to help our students prepare for success, we’re providing Office to every student free of charge. With Office 365, your child will now have access to the latest version of Word, for writing; Excel, for spreadsheets; PowerPoint, for presentations; OneNote, for organization and note taking; and much more.
    Note to Parents and Students

This provides students access to the commercially available Microsoft software products. The software is the same Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other Office programs similar to what you can buy from your local retail store. As such, the district’s content filters and Internet security services are not associated with your home computers or personal devices.

Please note that WS/FCS is providing the latest version of Microsoft Office to align with the certification training available to our students. At this time the latest versions for the certification is Office 2013 for Windows computers. When you are at home, what you install on your Windows computer will not have the calendar year, and will automatically update to the latest version. If you are using a Mac at home the current version is Office for Mac 2011.

    Who is eligible?

Any student whose primary affiliation is "student."

What happens when a student graduates or withdraws from WS/FCS?

Once a student has left the district, their Microsoft Office ProPlus subscription will end. Students may enroll in other available consumer or commercial offers. Many colleges have the same availability for students to get Microsoft Office while a student at the college.

What software can the student download?

Eligible students are able to download Microsoft Office ProPlus applications on up to 5 PCs or Macs, and up to 5 tablets, including iPads. These applications include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Lync, OneNote*, Access*, and Publisher*.

*Publisher and Access available on PCs only, OneNote is available for download for other platforms.

    • Install on up to 5 compatible PCs and Macs, plus 5 tablets (including iPad!).
    • Use with OneDrive for automatic device syncing.
    • Office subscription lasts for as long as your child is a student here and continues with this program.
Follow these three easy steps to get your child’s Office.
    1. Visit Office.com/GetOffice365.
    2. Click through to download & sign in with your child’s credentials.
    3. On the download site, select your language and click install.
You will need your child’s school email account to sign in. Students in our district have an Office365 email account for the 2014-15 school year. Our email domain is wsfcsstudents.net, and the student email ID is:
First 4 Letters (FN) + First 4 Letters (LN) + Last 4 Digits (ID)

For example, the email address for James Jones (Student  ID #2532698) is JameJone2698@wsfcsstudents.net.
