    Bracey Bonham, Jr. lettered in football, track, and wrestling.  In 1968, he played lineman in the football Shrine Bowl in Charlotte, NC, and was the first Black American captain of the 1968 Shrine Bowl.  He was voted the Tar Heel "biggest and fastest man." He was a High School All-American in 1968 and was honored as an All-City Conference player all three years of high school.
