I am originally from Salisbury, NC and moved to Forsyth County 3 years ago.  I graduated from Pfeiffer University with a BA in Church Music.  I returned to school several years later to pursue my teaching credentials.  I graduated from UNCC in 2011 with a Graduate Certificate in Special Education.  I am certified in both General and Adapted Curriculum.  While at UNCC, I was inducted into Kappa Delta Pi, an international honor society for educators.  This is my 5th year teaching at Sedge Garden, and I am happy to be a part of this wonderful team.  My hobbies are cooking and shopping.  I live in Winston-Salem with my 2 very special rescue kitties Gina and Eddie (Special Ed - he had that name when I adopted him, go figure!)
