Meet Your School Counselors
I would like to tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Eugenia Saahir and I am honored to be a School Counselor at Hall-Woodward Elementary school. I earned my undergraduate degree from Salem College in Communications with a concentration in Not-for-Profit Management in 2014. and in 2018, I graduated with a Masters in Education in School Counseling K-12. I have over 20 years’ experience working as an Administrative Assistant in Corporate America, State Government and school systems in both Illinois and North Carolina. For the past 12 years I worked at Parkland Magnet High School in Winston-Salem, North Carolina. However, my love for helping people and my uncanny ability to communicate, led me to the field of school counseling. I am a wife, and mother of three adult children plus two grandchildren, I am constantly being tested in the art of helping. I believe in the mission of closing the achievement gap of all students.
I will provide counseling services covering a number of areas such as: goal setting, career options, friendship, cooperation, character education, and serve as the Intervention Support Team/504 Coordinator and AIG specialist. I look forward to serving you and your student. Please contact the school counseling office if you have any needs or concern regarding your student.
