Welcome To Westmoreland's World!
Hi! My name is Penny Westmoreland and I am a kindergarten teacher at Jefferson Elementary. I have a B.S. in Mathematics from Salem College. I went back to Salem to obtain my B.A. in Elementary Education in 2013. Prior to that I worked at Jefferson as a kindergarten assistant for 6 years. My career began in Winston-Salem at Integon Insurance where I was hired fresh out of college as an Actuarial student. I got married and we moved to Orlando, where I worked for another insurance company as an actuarial student. We then moved up to Northern Virginia where I worked as an Actuary for the Department of Defense. My two sons were born there, and we decided to move back to NC to be near the grandparents. I took several years off to raise my children. My two boys are Jack and Kyle. Jack graduated from Mt. Tabor High School and is a sophomore at East Carolina University. My younger son, Kyle, is a senior at Mt. Tabor.
In my free time I enjoy visiting the beach, lake, and mountains, cooking, skiing, hiking, watching ACC and SEC sports, listening to music, and spending time with family and friends. I LOVE working Soduko puzzles. :)Contact Info:Meet Ms. ManningMy name is Sandra Manning and I am new to Jefferson Elementary.
