• Welcome to KMS!
My name is Zachary Baker and this is my second year at Kernersville Middle School as an assistant principal. I received my undergraduate degrees in Spanish and Political Science from Wake Forest University. While at Wake Forest, I spent a semester in Salamanca, Spain enrolled in the University of Salamanca. I earned my Masters in School Administration from Appalachian State University as part of the North Carolina Principal Fellows Program. Before joining KMS, I taught Spanish at Wiley Middle School, West Forsyth High School, Parkland High School, and Atkins High School.
Here at KMS I am responsible primarily for 6th grade and transportation issues. Please let me know what I can do to help everyone have a great year here at KMS!
