Mrs. Fischer in Chicago
Hi everyone! I'm Courtney Fischer, and welcome to 4-Year-Old EC Prek. I am so excited you are all joining me this school year! This is my second year teaching EC PreK at Southwest, and my fourth year of teaching. I graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill (Go Heels!) in 2010 with a Bachelor's in Child Psychology. In 2012, I completed my Masters in Birth-Kindergarten Special Education at UNC-Greensboro. I'm a Lewisville native, and I live with my husband and our two dogs. Teaching young children is absolutely my passion - I can't imagine doing anything else. Our classroom focuses on growing and learning through fun, hands-on engagement. Please check out the links on this page for more information - I will keep a classroom blog this year, and I will try to update the calendar page as often as I can. Don't hesitate to reach out to me if you ever have any questions or comments. We are going to have a such a wonderful year together!
