    About Me:
Welcome to Math II at Mount Tabor High School.  This will be my 3rd year teaching math but it will be my first year as a Spartan!  I have just moved down to North Carolina from Rhode Island and I am very excited to be a part of the Mount Tabor family!

I love being outside and have spent my first month down here trying to explore as much as I could before the school year and can't wait to see more of this beautiful state!  I am also spending the majority of my free time training to run my first half marathon in November!  My life also revolves around my four-legged child, my pit bull puppy named Thor.

    Classroom Expectations:
My #1 expectation for my classroom is RESPECT.  Having respect for their peers, the teacher, classroom materials and most importantly themselves is a non-negotible in my classroom!  I will not tolerate any level of disrespect in my classroom. I expect all of my students to be on time and prepared for class with ALL necessary materials each day.  This is an essential skill for not only math class but also a skill that will allow my students to be successful in whatever endeavor they take on when they leave high school.  I expect them to try to learn the material every day, and to ask for help when they don't understand something.  I will do my best to check in with ALL my students but it is not realistic that I can get around to EVERY student EVERY day, so if a student has a questions I expect them to ask.  Most likely 5 other students have the same question!
Most of all, I expect my students to contribute a classroom culture where ALL my students feel safe to be themselves, make mistakes and have a positive learning experience.
