Career Technical Education (CTE) is a comprehensive program that prepares students to be world class workers and citizens in a global economy. After graduating from East Forsyth High School, many students who complete a CTE sequence of courses (a career cluster), may choose to enter the workforce, enroll into a community college or a 4-year college, or join the military. Courses available to take within the CTE program are designed to meet the needs of the economy. These efforts are supported at East Forsyth High School with help from local community leaders and organizations. The curriculum in each course is competency based and provides instruction in the skills and knowledge required for success in the student's chosen career pathway.
