• Kimmel Farm Elementary School’s 2017 Teacher of the Year was Mr. Randy Raines. Mr. Raines was not only the first specialist to ever be chosen as Kimmel Farm’s Teacher of the Year, he was the first male. Originally from Charlottesville, Virginia, his middle school art teacher inspired him to pursue an Art degree in college. He graduated Cum Laude in 2000 from Greensboro College and has been teaching Art for eight years. He joined the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County School system in 2009.

Our Classified Employee of the Year was Ms. Pamela Ingram-Jackson. Ms. Ingram-Jackson is a native of Forsyth County, and she graduated from Forsyth County Community College with an associate’s degree in Applied Science with Early Childhood Education. She has worked with children for thirty years, ten of which have been with the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County system. One of her biggest accomplishments was being chosen as one of the top ten classified employees in the district in the 2013-2014 school year.
