Reagan is a member of the North Carolina High School Athletic Association and Central Piedmont Triad 4-A Conference and is governed by rules and regulations of eligibility and participation set up by those organizations.
Reagan competes in football, basketball, baseball, track and field, cheerleading, field hockey, cross country, wrestling, swimming, golf, tennis, soccer, volleyball, softball and lacrosse. These programs are open to all who meet eligibility requirements, and final selections for the teams is made by the coaching staff.
In order to participate, a student must have a physical examination. In addition the student must have school insurance.
According to the NCHSAA all participants must also have passed a minimum number of courses from the previous semester .
According to the WSFCS all participants can not miss more than 10 days from the previous semester. Those athletes that do not have a 2.0 from the previous semester will have to participate in the academic support program.
