• Welcome to the R. J. Reynolds Career Development Center! My name is Mary Bergstone and I have been the Career Development Coordinator since the 2015-2016 school year. Before that I was a Marketing and Business Education Teacher and (for 3 years) the Curriculum and Testing Coordinator.
I am delighted to work with all students here at Reynolds. I want to help every student create a plan for the future, beginning in 9th grade. I go into Life Skills classes every semester to see all freshmen and then I visit Career and Technical Education Classes as often as possible. Students are encouraged to come and see me when they have any career or college questions. If I don't know the answer, I will find out who does!
It is my sincere belief that a 4 year college is not for everyone. There are many other valid paths and I would like to explore them with you. Remember, a job is something you do to pay the bills, a career is something you do because you love it.
