I am not your typical teacher, I left industry to teach and make a difference. I have a passion for helping and guiding young adults to success. I am always willing to give advice to students considering their options for their future. I have worked for several companies and bring multiple experiences with me to the classroom . I have been employed by The Limited, YMCA, UNC-Greensboro Residential Life, Lollytogs (Adidas Kids), Blandwood Mansion, Kayser Roth, Wrangler, and International Minute Press. I have been part of the Reagan Faculty going on 9 years. I have been married to Jesse Derouin since October 2007. In my spare time, I create altered art, scrapbook and make jewelry. I have just recently started courses for attaining my EdD in Educational Leadership with a focus in Career and Technical Education at Appalachian State University. My Favorite Quote: "Every possibility begins with the courage to imagine..."
