    Meet Our Teachers!

    Rhonda Connor:  Mrs. Connor teaches HAG 3rd grade.  She taught for 10 years in Wake County at a School for Gifted and Talented Students  in third grade  She moved to Winston Salem and has taught 2nd grade at Brunson for 2 years and finally got back to what she loves this year teaching 3rd grade HAG.  In 2014 she was named a Kenan Fellow by NCSU, (A STEM immersion fellowship) this was a chance to work hand in hand with a STEM industry (UL Laboratories) and bring those real world experiences into the classroom.  She is a wife of 34 years to husband Jim, and mother of  two daughters; Katrina a food scientist in Dallas, TX and Rebecca a chemist with a pharmaceutical company in RTP.  She also has a furbaby, Darby!  She loves baseball, and hopes to visit all the ballparks across the country one day, she and Jim are up to 13 out of 30!  Contact: reconnor@wsfcs.k12.nc.us

    Michele Jordan:  Michele Jordan teaches 5th grade HAG.   Mrs. Jordan is a teacher leader in the HAG program and Forsyth County Association of Educators (FCAE) and has been teaching since 1996.  She has 3 children: Cole, who is at UNCC; Natalie, who is in Middle School and Bridget, who is finishing up Elementary School.   Contact:  mljordan@wsfcs.k12.nc.us

    Emily Duggan: Emily is our 4th grade HAG teacher!  She is in her 4th year of teaching at Brunson and has experience teaching multiple grade levels.  She is active in the arts and helps lead our Music Club here at Brunson.  Contact: enduggan@wsfcs.k12.nc.us
