Meet Our Teachers!
Rhonda Connor: Mrs. Connor teaches HAG 3rd grade. She taught for 10 years in Wake County at a School for Gifted and Talented Students in third grade She moved to Winston Salem and has taught 2nd grade at Brunson for 2 years and finally got back to what she loves this year teaching 3rd grade HAG. In 2014 she was named a Kenan Fellow by NCSU, (A STEM immersion fellowship) this was a chance to work hand in hand with a STEM industry (UL Laboratories) and bring those real world experiences into the classroom. She is a wife of 34 years to husband Jim, and mother of two daughters; Katrina a food scientist in Dallas, TX and Rebecca a chemist with a pharmaceutical company in RTP. She also has a furbaby, Darby! She loves baseball, and hopes to visit all the ballparks across the country one day, she and Jim are up to 13 out of 30! Contact: reconnor@wsfcs.k12.nc.us
Kelsey Williams: Kelsey Williams is a fourth grade HAG teacher. This is her sixth year as a teacher at Brunson and second year in the HAG program. Kelsey is a graduate of James Madison University and was Brunson's 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year. Contact: kawilliams@wsfcs.k12.nc.us
Michele Jordan: Michele Jordan a fifth grade HAG teacher. This is her fifth year at Brunson in our HAG program. She has much experience as a gifted teacher in our district.
