• Student Government

Atkins High School Student Government seeks to provide leadership opportunities for students.  It aims to promote student participation, civic mindedness, and school pride within the Camel Community.  Officers are elected by the student body but meetings and events are open to all interested students, faculty, and staff.  Each grade level is represented by five elected representatives and the student body as a whole is represented by an additional three elected officers.  Student Government meets on the second and fourth Friday in the Media Center from 4:00-5:00.

All students are welcomed and encouraged to attend meetings, regardless of whether or not they are an elected officer.

Dr. Chris Nichols is the advisor.
