Course Registration Information

Course Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open January 23 and run through March 24, 2023.

• Rising 6th graders will work with Elementary School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 23 and February 24, 2023.
• Rising 7th and 8th graders will meet with Middle School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 23 and February 24, 2023.
• Rising 9th grade registration will meet with Middle School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between February 25- March 10, 2023.
• Rising 10th-12th graders will meet with High School Counselors to choose courses for the next school year between January 23 and March 24, 2023.

Individual schools develop their timelines for registration; expect communication from your School’s Counseling Departments related to their process and timeline.

Winston Salem Forsyth County Schools rising 6th – 12th graders can begin selecting courses for the 2023-2024 school year.  School Counselors will work with students to ensure they are aware of required courses and various elective choices made available through the high school and middle school registration handbooks.  All student registration will be completed by March 24, 2023.  Please refer to school websites and/or hard copies of information provided by School Counselors for specific details about the registration process at each school.
