Welcome to the Sherwood Forest Elementary School Website. Sherwood Forest is a wonderful school with an emphasis on Art and Science.
I have have been working in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system since 2001. I have worked as a 5th grade teacher at Griffith Elementary and as Assistant Principal at Sedge Garden Elementary before having the privilege to serve as Principal of Sherwood Forest Elementary, since 2010.
I have a wife, Shasta, who works in the school system and two children. We have a son, Mason and a daughter, Heidi. My goal at Sherwood is to lead and make decisions that are in the best interest of students. I am orginally from West Virgina but have lived in NC since 2001. My interests and hobbies are reading, cooking, coaching baseball, being an active spectator with gymnastics, golf, excercise and watching the WVU Mountaineers and Green Bay Packers. I hope we have a chance to speak soon.
