  • Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Schools (WS/FCS) Family Engagement Department focuses on partnering with parent/guardians, families, and our community to increase family engagement within our schools and the greater district.  
    WS/FCS has a vision to be welcoming and inviting district through collaboration and inclusiveness.  We strive to have family voices play an active role in decision making across all levels. Research shows family engagement and parent/guardian involvement is crucial for student success.

    The Family Engagement Department partners with parent/guardians, families, and community stakeholders to engage in innovative ways to share information and resources that support our students.

    To use trust and mutual respect to create authentic, equitable, and culturally relevant partnerships with parents/guardians and families that are part of WS/FCS.

    Vision:

    Parents/guardians and families will have equitable access to opportunities, resources, and events that enhance and support every level of their child’s educational experience.
