    Announcements:
     
    I will be having tutoring Tuesdays from 2:00 to 3:00.  
    All are welcome. 
     
    ASAP will begin the week of September 8th.  Please be aware of Sunday phone announcements/communication in team packs or contact one of the core teachers for more information about this new program to help students follow through with homework regularly.

    Extra! Extra! read all about it! Wednesday Packets should be coming home weekly with lots of information about students progress, school opportunites, teams, and events.  Check out yours this week!

    About Mrs Kennedy
     
    I am excited to be back as an Emperor this year.  I started teaching in Raleigh, NC and taught both 6th and 8th grades.  However, growing up in Davie County, I always pictured myself coming back “home.” So after 4 years in Wake County, I came back and started working in Forsyth County. I studied both chemistry and math at Meredith College in Raleigh.   In my fifteen years of teaching, I have taught science in grades 6, 7, and 8  and 7th grade math.  I am certified to teach both math and science in grades 6-9 as well as chemistry in grades 9-12.
