• Welcome Aggies to Ms. Kimel’s 7th grade English Language Arts class! I’m excited about the opportunity to get to know you and I’m looking forward to a happy and productive school year.

     
    Seventh-grade students use reading, writing, oral language, media, and technology for literary and informational text, argument, informative, and narrative writing purposes. Students also explore the structure of language and study grammatical rules in order to write and speak effectively.

    Make up work policy:

     

    Make up work is the responsibility of the student and needs to be made up by the end of the quarter in which the absence occurred. Students will lose points according to the school's late work policy, which can be found on the school's website.

     

    Behavior:

     

    I expect respectful and focused students. It is very important that students come to class prepared and ready to learn. In order to maintain a safe and orderly learning environment, the following classroom management system will be in place:
