Welcome to the 2016-2017 school year! I want to first thank all of you that attended the Open House event. We had a great turnout.  I hope you had a great summer and that all of you both students and their families are ready to return to the business of learning. I have been working hard to prepare for another amazing school year, building on the success and accomplishments of last year.

Finally parents, please review with your child the importance of taking responsibility for their learning and appropriate behavior.  As a team; teachers, students, parents, and administration, we can make this an environment where all students can perform at their highest level of learning. This year my goal is to provide a consistent, rigorous and relevant education to all students.  The Individual & Societies department will work in professional learning communities to discuss and create consistent expectations such as how written work is cited and/or meeting deadlines for projects and other assignments.  Students will be expected to participate in class, complete all assignments on time, and be engaged in all classroom activities. Thank you again for your support and I look forward to working with you this year.
