Clemmons Middle School

My name is Lisa Hendrix, and this is my second year teaching math at Clemmons Middle. Before coming to Clemmons, I taught for four years at Northwest Middle School. I have taught 6th through 9th grade mathematics classes, and am licensed to teach math in grades 6 through 12.

My Undergraduate degree is in Computer Graphic Design, and prior to teaching I worked as a usability engineer designing web applications. I returned to school to pursue my teaching license in Mathematics, and have been teaching ever since. A few years ago, I earned my Masters in Secondary Education. 

I grew up as an "army brat," and I have lived all across the United States. I have also been fortunate to travel to a number of foreign countries. After college, a job opportunity brought me to North Carolina, where I meet my husband, Allen. My husband and I have lived in Winston-Salem for 13 years. Our daughter, Brooke, graduated from a WSFC high school and is now in college.
