• Biography

My name is Michele Silmser.  I am originally a Yankee from Upstate Northern New York, might as well say Canada.  In 1996, I moved to the Winston area and now live in Rural Hall with my husband and four children.  I am a graduate of Potsdam State College where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree and a Master’s Degree in K-12 Reading. This is my 18th year in education and 10th year as the Curriculum Coordinator at Wiley Middle School.  I wear many hats here and look forward to the day to day interaction with students and staff.   Being here at Wiley for 15 years, has afforded me a rich history.  Many, many changes have taken place and all for the better.  If you have any questions regarding volunteers, testing, or anything else, please contact me at msilmser@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
