• Does Kingswood School require students to wear uniforms?

    No, however, we do follow the WSFCS dress code with regard to what is appropriate for school dress. 
     
    Can I bring my cell phone to school?
     
    No. Students are not permitted to use cell phones or electronic devices at any time during the school day. If these items are brought to school, they will be turned in to the office and returned to the student at the end of the day.
     
     
    Will Kingswood School provide transportation to the school?
     
    Yes. School bus transportation will be provided for all students residential to Winston-Salem/Forsyth County. Once the bus stop information is entered, it usually takes about 5 days for a bus to be active.
     
     
    What schedule does Kingswood School follow?
     
    High school and Middle school students follow the WS/FCS middle school schedule, 7:30 am - 2:00 pm.
    Elementary school students follow the WS/FCS elementary school schedule, 8:00 am - 2:30 pm.
     
     
    Can you tell me anything else about Kingswood School?
     
    The Kingswood School serves students K-12 from the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School system. All students are served by Alexander Youth Network in a day treatment program. Students who attend Kingswood School are assigned by our district. This is not a choice school.
