Welcome to ESL!  ESL (English as a Second Language)  classes are offered to students whose first language is not English.  Students are tested for English proficiency if they list any language other than English on the Home Language Survey.  Then if they are not proficient, ESL classes will be offered to them.  If parents do not want their child to receive services, they may sign a waiver.

ESL classes help students facilitate English in four domains: Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing.  The program follows curriculum guidelines and supports the content areas of the students' grade level.

I love teaching our English Language Learners (ELL).  They are so eager to learn and make my job so rewarding!
