    Welcome:
    This is my 12th year as a teacher here at East Forsyth. I am married with two sons named Will & Bowen. I am a graduate of High Point University with a degree in Business Administration/Marketing. In the past, I have taught; Digital Communication Systems, Computer Applications I, Computer Applications II, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Publisher, Business Management, Business Law, Marketing, Strategic Marketing, Travel & Tourism and Alternative Learning Center. Beyond teaching I am also the coach of the women's & Mens golf program. When I am not at school I enjoy spending time with my family, golf, tennis, camping, fishing, canoeing, kyaking and traveling. Below are the courses I currently teach.
     
    Sports & Entertainment Marketing:

    This course is designed to help students develop basic knowledge, skills, and attitudes that will prepare them to enter the field of marketing. The course emphasizes the foundations of business, management, and entrepreneurship; economics; professional development; and communication and interpersonal skills. Included in these foundations are concepts such as distribution, financing, selling, pricing, promotion, marketing-information management, and product/ service management. Skills in communications, mathematics, and psychology are reinforced in this course. Marketing simulations, projects, teamwork, DECA leadership activities, meetings, conferences, and competitions provide many opportunities for application of instructional competencies.
