        Welcome to the Peanuts Gang!

         Ms. Peatross' 2nd Grade Class

    I am always excited to start the new year and get to know the students that will be in my class. This is     my 26th year of teaching and my 7th year at Griffith Elementary. I graduated from Meredith College in Raleigh, NC with a BA degree in sociology and a K-4 teaching certification. I live in Winston-Salem and have an 18 year old daughter and a 15 year old son. We have a labradoodle named Harley. In the summer I love to sit by the pool and read or sit in the swing and visit with my grandmother that we live beside. In the winter you will find me by the fireplace drinking coffee and reading. Other hobbies I enjoy are traveling to watch my children play lacrosse, football, basketball and walking Harley. Right now I am enjoying each and every one of your children as they have come into 2nd grade with new sparkling tennis shoes, new faces, and the excitement of starting a new school year!
