    Parents and Students,
    Happy New Year and Welcome Back to Ms. Green's Fifth Grade Class.
    I have enjoyed working with and getting to know each one of you and look forward to making
    2011 a great year.

       I have been an educator for eleven years and have been afforded the opportunity to work in the capacity of a classroom teacher as well as an instructional leader.  I have taught many grades from Pre-K to middle and have enjoyed teaching at all levels.  My favorite subject is Language Arts and I enjoy times when I can share with students as they
    express their creativity through writing, which is my favorite hobby.
       I attended Salem College where I received a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Sociology and a Master's degree in Education.  I am currently working on a second Master's degree in Divinity. 
    I lead by example in communicating the message to students that learning is a lifelong process!
       Our classroom is a happy place where we enjoy exploring and learning from one another
