     Welcome to Third Grade!!! 

    I'm Catherine Gant. This is my second year at Piney Grove. I am SO excited to be a Panda!!! Last year I taught first grade, but now I'm back in third grade. I taught 8 years at Hall-Woodward; six years in second grade and two in third grade.  I attended WS/FC schools K-12.  I graduated from Appalachian State University and I received my Masters from Salem College. My husband and I have one son and we are really enjoying watching him grow!!!  We also have one huge, adorable, amazing dog, Meika.  Besides spending time with my family, I also love playing softball, reading, and traveling.
