    I am in my eighth year of teaching.      I graduated from Salem College in 2009 with my B.A. in Elementary Education and Spanish and graduated from Duke in the summer of 2015 with my AIG add-on license.  I am excited to be going into my second year teaching third grade AG at Piney Grove!  Previously, I taught fourth grade for four years - two years at Jefferson and two at Old Richmond, and also spent two years teaching second grade at Old Richmond.

     
    I am from Stokes County, North Carolina.  My parents still live there and my brother is in the United States Navy.  Outside of the classroom, I enjoy reading and watching football games (especially the Wake Forest Demon Deacons and Carolina Panthers).
