    My name is Mrs. Ivey.  I am a graduate of Meredith College in Raleigh.  I have been teaching for 26 years.  I taught in Alamance and Rockingham counties before moving to Kernersville in the fall of 2000.  I have been teaching at Kernersville Elementary since 2001.  I am married and have two children, Stephen and Meredith who both attended KES.  Stephen is a graduate of East Forsyth High School,and now resides in Wilmington NC.  Stephen is also a new father, which makes me a very proud, first time Gigi, to a beautiful baby girl.  Meredith is also a graduate of East Forsyth and will graduate from Western Carolina University,in May. Go Catamounts!
