Not every child has an equal talent, an equal ability, or

equal motivation, but children have the equal right to

develop their talent, their ability, and their motivation.”

My classroom instruction is based on a core curriculum which is differentiated to meet the needs of gifted learners through content acceleration and real world applications. My primary objective is focused at extending and enhancing classroom opportunities by creating a learning environment that is characterized by rigorous academic goals, incorporating multiple learning styles, and promoting a cohesive gifted peer community.

4th and 5th grade academically gifted students receive instruction in both reading and math that is a full year ahead of their chronological grade. These students come to my class each day for approximately 2 ½ hours.
