Welcome to Mrs. Haeffele's Class Webpage!
    Roberta Haeffele
    4th grade teacher
Welcome to my class! I am so excited to have all of your children in 4th grade this year.  It is my job to prepare your child for 5th grade, so we will work really hard in reading and math to make sure they grow.  We will also learn fun and exciting topics in science and social studies too. Your child will learn a lot and be ready for next year, plus develop a great love for learning. My job is to create independent and productive students, who will be inspired to learn on their own, be creative in all they take on, and be confident enough to take risks to try new things.  Let's have a great year!
    About me!
My name is Roberta Haeffele.  This will be my 16th year of teaching. I have taught 1st and 2nd grades and this will be my fourth year in 4th.  I have an Elementary Degree in Education K-6 from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Masters Degree in Reading Education K-12 from Appalachian University. I am also National Board Certified.
I have been married for 7 years to a wonderful guy!  I have 2 dogs who are my babies. Chef is a Labrador retriever that is 9 years old and Guinness is a Boxer mix that is almost 2. I also love to go to the beach and read.  My favorite books are the Harry Potter series and the Lord of the Rings series, but I also love to read many other types of books.  I am also a big Panthers and Patriots fan!  I love football season!
I love and cherish every child that comes through my class and will treat your child as if they were my own.  Please trust that I will take care of your child to the best of my ability.  Together we can work together to help your child be confident about themselves, knowledgeable about the world, and inspire them to be life long learners.
If you ever have any questions or concerns, please feel free to call the school before 7:30 or after 3:00.  We are doing a lot of learning in between those times.  :)
You can also write me notes or send me an email.
