• HELLO WOLFPACK FAMILY                                                            WELCOME BACK !

My name is Tammy C. Johnson and I serve as the one of the wonderful APs of Walkertown High.  LOVE IT!  I am married to Jesse Johnson, Jr. and I have two beautiful children, Jesse (Jay) and Ashley.  I also have two dogs,"Michael Vick" and "Cam Newton".  (As you can tell, I love football).

My favorite professional team is the Carolina Panthers! I graduated from North Forsyth High School where I was a Valkyrie.  I received my BA from East Carolina University where I pledged Alpha Kappa Alpha. I also attended North Carolina A&T State University where I received my Masters Degree School Administration.

My church is Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church located in Walkertown right off of Pine Hall road, where I am the director of the Teen choir and a member of the gospel choir.  I also work with the youth dept. and I am a memeber of the Board of Christian Education.

I have been over education for over 20 years.  I taught middle school science at Clemmons Middle School, where I was also voted "Teacher of the Year".  I was also a science teacher at Glenn High School.  As you can tell "I love Science!".  I was employed by SciWorks Science Center for a few years where I was the presenter of the Physics and Chemistry demos for the public, but I missed and yearned for the classroom.

I have been an administrator for over 5 years.  My duties at Walkertown High include bus supervision, Exceptional Children, Safety, Discipline, Volunteers, Drop Out Prevention, Community Involvement, Graduation, Prom,  and Junior Deans---just to name a few.  I am also responsible for students whose last names end in A - G, but all are my children regardless of their last name. I am honored to be a part of such a great high school and I am humbled to have the opportunity to be one of the assistant principals.  I love Walkertown and everything about it.  Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.
