    Attention Students



    Juniors and Seniors who purchased a Prom Ticket(s) can pick up their refund check Wednesday, May 6th from 10:00am-2:00pm at East Forsyth High via a drive-thru pick up in front of the 1100 building!  

    Students must present a photo ID when picking it up.  The checks will be given ONLY to the person who purchased the ticket(s). 

     

     

     

    SENIORS who haven’t picked up their Graduation items may also come next Wednesday May 6th from 10am-2pm and pick up in the drive thru!

     

     

     

    Driver’s Ed Eligibility Forms may also be picked up on Wednesdays from 10am-2pm with the proper paperwork.

  • FINAL EXAM INFORMATION FOR AP STUDENTS

    Good Afternoon AP Families!

    We want to let you know that this year your AP student will have the opportunity to take AP Exams at home, online. AP Exams will be given from May 11-May 22 and will be 45 minutes in length. This year’s tests will cover the content and skills learned through early March. Students can join free AP online classes and review sessions to prepare for the exams at youtube.com/advancedplacement. Visit the College Board’s website at cb.org/coronavirusAP to find the complete exam schedule and to learn more.

     

    Also note, last week, College Board offered a webinar for students and parents called

    "Helping Your Student Prepare for AP Exams".  It was recorded, so it can be accessed by registering using the link located on the district's AIG web page.

    Attention Seniors-

    Don't forget to turn in your senior exit form if you have not done so already.  Also, if you applied to college and have won any scholarship money whether you are going to that college or not, please email a copy of your awards letter to Mrs. Mathews in the counseling office. This also includes any outside scholarships you have won.  Ways to send this information are - scan it and email it if you have this option or take a picture and email it or send it in the mail.  Mrs. Mathews' email is almathews@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.


    SENIOR DELIVERY DAY has been rescheduled for April 20 from 11-4.  Jostens will do a curbside pickup in front of the 1100 building for seniors to pick up their graduation materials.

                    CHROMEBOOK DISTRIBUTION INFORMATION

    Families who requested an eLearning device for their student should stop by the main office lobby Thursday March 19 or Friday March 20 anytime between 9am-6pm to check out the chrome book.  If you did not fill out the form online, you may still come to the office and request a device.  ***Please note due to a delay in the delivery of hotspots those will not be distributed until next week.  More detail for families who requested those will follow.


    We plan to start all forms of eLearning on Thursday March 19, but if you haven’t received a device it is ok to begin learning after you pick one up. 


    Again, breakfast and lunch will be served at many schools from 10 until 2, check the website for details and locations. We will continue meal delivery in select areas via our buses.  The website has all the stops and delivery times. Any child can eat at any location.

    Makeup ACT will be given on Tuesday, March 17.  All students taking the Makeup ACT should be in the Media Center by 8:55am ready to test!

     

    Join East Forsyth’s Interact Club in the fight against cancer!  See Mr. Thompson in Room 304 to purchase an “in memory of” paper for $1.00.  These will be taped onto the walls of the main office lobby to support for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.  All money raised goes to LLS for cancer research!

     

    Attention Students and Staff:  Senior Deans is hosting a blood drive in the old gym on Friday, March 27 from 7:30am-2:00pm.  We have new guidelines!  If you’re 16 and weight at least 110 lbs. you’re eligible to donate blood even if you’ve been denied in the past.  See Mrs. Cresimore in Pod 23 or Mrs. Hilton in Room 506 to sign up.  ALL donors will receive a $10 Visa gift card. 

     

    PROM TICKETS  will go on sale starting this week during all 3 lunches in the front office lobby.

    March 10 and 12       individual tickets will cost $40.00

    March 16, 18 & 20    individual tickets will cost $45.00 

    March 24                   individual tickets will cost $50.00

    Each student purchasing a ticket must be debt free with the school BEFORE purchasing tickets.  Please see Ms. Shropshire in the main office to make payments and be cleared.  You must bring a photo ID to purchase the ticket.  NO CHECKS will be accepted, CASH ONLY.  Make sure you have read the Guidelines provided in Homeroom in February.  If your guest is NOT an EFHS student, you must complete and return a Prom Guest Permission slip by the day you purchase the tickets.  Forms are located in the main office lobby cubbies.  Price of ticket includes entrance, buffet dinner, and a firework show at 10:15 pm.  If you have any questions, see Mrs. Valdes in room 1103 before or after school, not during class time.   Prom will be held Saturday, April 4th from 7:00-11:00pm at the Dash Baseball Stadium.  This year’s theme is “the Roaring 20’s” and NO TICKETS ARE SOLD AT THE DOOR.  March 24th is the FINAL DAY to purchase your ticket for the prom.

     

    It's time for the 2nd Annual Eagle Prom Dress Pop Up!  

    Mrs. Stanley in Pod 24 is now accepting prom dress donations.  The Prom Dress Pop Up will be open in Pod 24 before school from 8:15-8:55am and after school from 3:40-4:30pm.  The Prom Dress Pop Up shop is free and open to anyone that will be attending the Prom on April 4th at the Dash Stadium.

     

    Weekly Biology Brush Up Tutoring starts next week! Sessions are on Tuesday afternoon from 3:50 to 4:30pm with an alternative session Thursday mornings from 8-8:40am both in Room 402. The session covers Macromolecules and Enzymes; all students are encouraged to attend!

     

     

    Would you like to be able to voice your opinion about the politics of the United States and choose candidates that embrace your values?  If you're at least 16, come to the Voter registration drive in the courtyard all next week March 9-13 during all three lunches.

    Also Seniors- Please bring copies of any college scholarship, or merit award letters to Student Services.  We would like to know your  scholarship and merit-based grant awards from all colleges and universities, even from those where you do not plan to attend.  We will need these letters in order to prepare for Awards Day.  

     

     

    Drama Club will be conducting their MS Coin Drive to collect funds and support Burg's Backers.  All funds raised will go the National MS Society to support those living with MS across the US.  The MS Walk will take place on Saturday, April 18th at Triad Park in Kernersville.  See Ms. Burgess for more details.  The Coin Drive will continue thru April 7th.  Please support Ms. Burgess and the MS Society. 

     

    Be sure to get your Eagle Spirit Wear in the main office.  Championship tshirts, hats, lanyards, decals, tshirts and hoodies!!  Stop by and get yours now…supplies are limited!

    Did you know that East Forsyth High School has a food pantry for students that need some help with meals? This program is run through the Student Services office and supported by the PTSA. The pantry is in need of snack items such as granola bars, cereal bars, protein bars, nabs, peanut butter crackers, pop tarts, etc.  If you can help our Eagle family out, please send items into the office labeled “food pantry”.
