     Welcome to Moore Magnet Elementary Media Center!
     
    The Moore Magnet Elementary Library Media Program is an integral part of the school community, working in collaboration with teachers, nurturing students' growth in reading, critical thinking and lifelong learning.
     
     
    As Library Media Specialist, it is my goal to provide a welcoming atmosphere for our students where they can discover favorite books and authors and to develop a collection that provides opportunities for students to see themselves reflected in literature and have exposure to books that provide them "windows" and "doors" into other cultures, experiences, and worlds. 
    Along with promoting reading, I want to provide students with opportunities and activities that allow them to work collaboratively, think critically and find ways to utilize the resources available to them to imagine, create, design and share their ideas. 
    I'm looking forward to a great year with our students and all that we can explore together!
