    Welcome to my web page. My name is Brian Brookshire, and I am the Principal at Old Richmond Elementary School.  This is my third year as principal at Old Richmond.   Prior to coming to Old Richmond Elementary School, I served as assistant principal at Jefferson Elementary School and Walkertown Elementary School. Before moving into administration, I was a guidance counselor at Atkins Middle School and a social studies teacher at Mineral Springs Middle School.  I have worked  in the Winston-Salem Forsyth County School System since 1994. 
     
    I hold a BS from Appalachian State Univeristy in Social Science, Education and two MA from East Carolina in Educational Leadership and School Counseling.
     
    I love the Old Richmond family and look forward to working with teachers, students and parents during the 2012-13 school year.
