About Myself

I am Terri Youtz and have been teaching here in North Carolina since 1999.  I started at North Hills in 5th grade for two years before coming to Piney Grove in 2001 where I was the science specialist for a year and then moved to second grade until this year.  I grew up in East Canton, Ohio on a farm.  (East Canton is near Canton, Ohio where the Pro Football Hall of Fame is located.)  I graduated from Muskingum University in Ohio and received a BS in elementary education (birth-8th grade).  As many of you already know, I am a Chicago Bears fan and love the colors blue and orange.  In my spare time, I play softball, help my brother at his cross country and track meets at Bishop McGuinnes where he is a coach, go to the movies, and hang out with friends and family.  I look forward to getting to know your child!!  If you are in need of contacting me, you can email me at tlyoutz@wsfcs.k12.nc.us.
