Every Friday I will put test and quizzes in for you to view. Please sign and return the papers in the folder. Additional info:- Check the Friday folder for information about the upcoming book fair. - HOMEWORK PASSES: If your child receives a homework pass from an event outside of school, she/he can use it to mark out 4 math problems on the math sheet, or one question from the reading assignment, or trade it in for 5 paw bucks. Students also have the opportunity to earn a homework pass as a class dojo reward. For this, students will be exempt from a week of either math or reading homework. Please let me know if you have any questions.
- The math book is available online for student support. Click the math tab for the website and login information.
________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________What we are working on....READING HOMEWORK: Reading homework will be assigned on Mondays and due on Fridays. Students will write the assignment in their agenda's.Math: Students need to work on skills we learn throughout the year. Allowing them to play games from the math website tab or go to the First in Math website will help them build these skills. Please let me know if you have trouble with any websites that are on my site. Students will need to be fluent in their multiplication facts. At the moment, on 3 students have mastered these facts.Reading: Students should break homework into small sections instead of trying to read a large section in one night. Have your child retell what they read to you. If they are not able to restate what they read, then have them try reading it again.

Mrs. Theresa Tall
Hello students and parents/guardians!! My name is Theresa Tall and I started teaching at Piney Grove in 2007. My family and I are Louisiana natives and moved here due to orders my husband had received through the Marine Corps. Now that he has retired we have decided to make this area our permanent home. I have two daughters and a grandson. I look forward to spending time with and teaching your child this year. Please e-mail me if you have any questions or concerns through out the year.
