    I am so excited to start a new quarter.  This quarter we will focus on reading strategies, literature, and social studies.  We will learn to summarize, find the main idea and supporting details, make inferences, and choose the author's purpose for writing.  We will have a different genre of literature each month.  Our writing will consist of expository writing which explains why.  Social Studies includes government and the beginning of the United States.  Our math unit begins with volume and place value.  Our first science area of focus genetics and ecosystems.  Please visit our classroom at anytime.  You are always welcome.
