     Your child is learning about the importance of physical fitness, while gaining valuable skills used to prepare your child for the next grade level.  In PE class, students are moving and active in a safe setting.  All our activities are inclusive so there is no time sitting around the gym.  
     As parents, please strive to have your child exercise 30 minutes-1 hour day so your child will be fit and healthy.  Do the same for yourself and set a good example for your family.  Also, a healthy child performs better in school.  My goal is for children to be active for a lifetime, not just at school or as a child.  Exercise and making healthy choices is a way of life with many, many benefits!!
