    Science Lab
In the Science Discovery Lab at Southwest Elementary School, students are actively engaged in hands on science activities.  Students are encouraged to observe, hypothesize, collect data, and draw conclusions.  They learn to solve problems and develop important critical thinking skills.  Most activities involve cooperative groups which teach the students important skills about getting along with others and working together to solve problems. The excitement is evident as students work together and discover the fascinating world of science.
