    ¡Bienvenidos al mundo del Español!
¡Greetings and Saludos to Students and Parents!
My name is Latisa Warner and I am one of the Spanish Teachers in the Foreign Language Department of Glenn High School. Fluent in both Spanish and English, I have educated students at the high school level for the last 14 years. I am versed in teaching all levels of Spanish, from beginner, through intermediate and advanced levels of language acquisition.  In addition to my normal teaching responsibilities, I am also the Foreign Language Department Chair. For the last 7 years, I have also served as the Spanish Club Sponsor and also have taken 4 International Trips abroad with Spanish Language students.
Much of the content of the high-school level language courses focuses on a global exploration of Spanish-speaking nations around the world. Curriculum includes the study of geography, art music, food and social sciences of Spanish-speaking nations. At the same time, students focus on a daily practice of grammar, vocabulary and basic conversation skills to promote language acquisition.
Your patience is greatly appreciated during this school year; as I have committed to utilizing my website to better promote communication and material acquisition for both students and parents. This website will include all important documents as it applies to course content as well as useful links in cultural exploration!
In an effort to better incorporate the use of technology amongst teachers and students, the Spanish Department has adopted an on-line use of the textbook and supplemental materials for all students. All students with internet access will use the following site information for my classes...
