• Volunteering at Paisley is a wonderful thing that you can do for your children, yourself, and your community. Volunteers are needed for many different weekly and periodic opportunities including assisting with International Festival, Book Fair, joining the PTSA Board, proctoring, classroom representatives, and tutoring.  Please contact Roshanda McCrimmon, Assistant Principal, or  Parent Volunteer Coordinator, Elizabeth Pate, if you would like more information on donating your time at Paisley.

    Volunteering in WS/FCS

The Winston-Salem/Forsyth County Board of Education encourages parents and other members of the community wishing to contribute to the intellectual, physical and emotional development of students and well-being of schools to serve as school volunteers. School volunteers contribute services to an educational program without compensation and serve at the will and pleasure and under the supervision of school administrators and staff members.  Since 1999, the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County school system has partnered with the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce to provide district level support of volunteer programs. The Chamber is responsible for training, volunteer materials coordination, and ongoing support of school volunteer coordinators and volunteer faculty advisors who work directly with volunteers throughout the district.

Prior to volunteering, all parents and community members must complete a volunteer application. This year, there is a new computer system, so all volunteers must reapply.  There are directions for completing the application on the webpage which can be accessed using the link below.  Volunteers who were previously Level 2 approved should read carefully for their directions.
