I am so incredibly honored to serve as your principal here at Frank Morgan Elementary School. As a graduate of West Forsyth High School, Clemmons is like home to me. As soon as I walked onto Morgan’s campus, it became evident that this is a wonderful place to work and to learn and that is a testament to the people both in the building and in the community that surrounds and supports us.
Our job here is very important - as elementary teachers, we have the privilege of working with students for six years, which is the longest in their educational journey. I am very passionate about this privilege and the responsibility that it holds. The time we get to spend with our students and the relationships we build with them are truly lasting. As an advocate for all children, I know that we help to set the stage for their educational stories. I want these stories to be full of joy, and also full of challenges, knowing that challenges cause exponential growth.
As we strive each day to achieve the mission and vision for Morgan to become a community that fosters the development of all children to their full potential, it is evident that our students are much better served when we all work together. It is my hope that you, as family and community members, will get involved in Morgan Elementary School by coming to events, reaching out when you are confused about something or in need, helping with homework, and reading to your child each night. The more support our children feel, the better their experience will be both in and out of the classroom. Our work, together, will be what defines our success.
I absolutely love my work, but my biggest joy is my family. I am the mom of three amazing kids: Cole, Ashlyn and Juiliana. My son, Cole, works in Los Angeles at the LA Dream Center. Ashlyn is in college at Appalachian State University (Roll 'Neers) and Juiliana is a junior at Reagan High School. Along with my husband, Spencer, we love traveling, being outdoors and enjoying the simple life.
Please don't ever hesitate to reach out to me with any concerns. I appreciate your support and look forward to working with you. Go Mavericks!
